Ladies and gentlemen, we have paint on all the walls! Well, almost all...
House Update
We busted our buns over the last week and a half to get the walls sanded, primed, and painted in the back half of the house and the two additions. The color is Benjamin Moore's Paper White, just like in the front half of the house.

We still don't have a floor down, but we do have a setback/recover story with the floor that I will tell another time. The short version is that what we thought we could do with flooring we purchased in a Black Friday sale in 2016, we can't do. So we can't use that flooring on the first floor. But we now have a new flooring material on the way (vinyl this time, not MDF-core which is what we got by accident the first time).
Josh is also working on installing drywall between the rafters (second floor joists). This will have multiple benefits: We'll be able to put insulation up there to stop sound from going right through the floor, we'll be able to install LED can lights to provide overhead lighting, and we'll get a brighter ceiling on the first floor with a classic plaster-like look. Currently the ceiling on the first floor is the bottom of the second floor, just v-groove pine boards. It will be a decent amount of work but we think it will be a worthwhile look.
JJ Update
JJ is doing great! He continues to be healthy and happy (most of the time). At seven months he can crawl in "turbo" mode - he uses his left foot rather than his knee. He's pretty darn quick! JJ is also pulling himself up to standing on everything he can. We are eager to get a finished floor down for him soon! We missed our goal of his six-month birthday, so hopefully by eight months he will know what real floor feels like. :)
