We are having another baby!



We shared the news with family and friends via email back in the spring, and it has been a whirlwind since then with our house project and a now-walking almost-one-year-old! Sorry for the delay in sharing the news, blog readers!

It's a girl!

The other exciting thing we've learned is that baby #2 is a girl! Her nickname is "Pepita" like a pumpkin seed, since her due date is right around Halloween.

How do we feel?

I feel great! Just like when I was pregnant with JJ, I have had no morning sickness or food aversions/cravings. I am eating healthy and I have energy to keep up with JJ, which is a big blessing! Josh and I are super excited to welcome this baby girl, and we are sure JJ will be a great big brother.

What do we need?

We don't need much "stuff" thanks to the 15 month difference in ages between the two kiddos. I did start a registry for Pepita, which you can view here: Monroe Baby #2 Registry

It mostly includes requests for non-purchasable things, like babysitting and meals. It would be such a blessing to us to have your prayers and other non-material support!

Since we are off Facebook and Instagram, we are sharing a lot less about this pregnancy! But since you asked... :)
